Allison's room

Finally got Allison's bed where she wants it. John got a bed frame from his mom's house and put it together today. Hopefully the princess will be happy with it.

It was a perfect day to go to the Grasslands and go riding, but had no one to go with...major bummer...

My view

Pretty quiet day here, planned on going trail riding, but canceled due to the chance of thunderstorms. Of course it didn't storm, but it did rain some, so I guess I wouldn't have wanted to be out there in the rain....

Brotherly love on the 4th of July

Pretty lazy day for the most part. With a heat index of 110 I stayed in the house most of the day!! Did get motivated and went to church at four and then out to dinner with John, but that was it.

Came home from dinner to find the boys in a happy embrace....

Ivan got a bath

Still hot...apparently that is a recurring theme in Texas. Got the house cleaned up and then went out to give Ivan a bath. It wasn't too bad since we were both wet at the time!! He is so shiny and pretty now!

Jonas was a good boy and stayed under the trailer during Ivan's bath.

Rode Skippy for about 35 minutes tonight....Now I am really gross and sweaty and need to take a shower....but I am too tired to get up...

I did a ton of laundry today and I swear I will have a ton more from changing clothes so much from the heat...

July 2-mulch

Holy moly...hot hot hot out. But I wasn't lazy and John and I went to Lowes to get mulch. I put out 15 bags of mulch around the house. I still need more for the side of the house where the trailer is, but no one sees that part, so I'm not worried about it much.

Then when I walked in the house John had a yummy yummy frozen drink waiting for me....I love that man!

OMG IT'S HOT

Holy crap it was hot outside today....

Went this morning for a call back mammogram...thankfully everything went well, and I might have a PRN job out of it. As much as I don't want a job, I guess PRN wouldn't be too bad....

Rode Ivan tonight and Jonas was following me around...it was so very cute....

Hmmm...what did I do, what did I do??? That's what happens when you don't do your daily blog on a daily basis?

oh yeah....we went to Denton to get some of John's baseball jerseys framed, then we headed to Big Lots and found some really cheap kitty litter...woo hoo! Seems like good stuff too!

Came home and did some yard work, and rode Skippy....I'm tired of having big fat horses...

Now for the POTD......Timmy had a rough day...
