July 30-Thunderstorm

Woke up at 4:30 with a crazy thunderstorm!! We need the rain so it was good!!

Had to go get fingerprinted for work this morning so left at 8 and got there early and got my fingerprints done. Then went to Academy and tried to find some work pants but couldn't, 8's were too small and 10's were too freaking big so I didn't buy any. I really probably could have gotten by with the 8's but I freaking hate tight clothes so I didn't get them.

Oh...and it's the bottom of the seventh inning and the Rangers are kicking butt 7-0!!

July 29-Central Market lunch

Another FULL day at work!! Crazy!! I was originally hired to work 2:30-6:30, but it turned into 12:30-6:30 and next week I'm working 2 days 12:30-6:30 and then 3 full days! Better paycheck I guess!

I don't mind it though...it's fun. It can get stressful with crazy crying babies....but it's all good...

Went to Central Market at lunch and had yummy spinach salad and a bowl of fruit...good stuff!!

Seriously...I think I have the ISO set too high or something....grr...so freaking grainy pictures...yuk. I hate noise on pictures!!

Survived second day of "work" I'm going to go in all day tomorrow too...I really don't need the extra training but it's an extra 30 bucks so what the heck!

Had fun today......I know it can get stressful in there if all of the babies start crying at once, but as long as they don't follow me home it's all good!

Omg...I actually went to WORK today. But it's not really work....I'm the assistant infant teacher at a daycare...so basically I play with babies! Fun stuff!!

July 26-ugly pics

July 25-Allison can't park

She can park fine in the slanted parking spots but not so much in the straight ones. So we went up to the high school where she could practice...I'm pretty sure we're going back today, and every day this week!

July 24-out late

Kids went to a concert in Plano so poor John and I were stuck driving around waiting for them to be done. But they sure had fun...here's Alyssa with the 17 year old rock star..

July 23- Autumn is pretty

yes....still slacking on my blog...but here's Autumn..

Been busy...took Natalie to the airport on the 23rd and then went to see about a job at a daycare...I think I'm crazy...but it might be fun..

July 20-UT

Apparently I skipped taking a picture on the 19th??? Who knows.....ANYWAY.....took the girls down to Austin today and showed Natalie around the campus and got Alyssa's official COLLEGE ID!!!

oh...I know...the girls went to 6 Flags all day Saturday and I didn't take any pics.....I'm a slacker...

July 18-saving a bird...

Stupid birds are everywhere and keep falling/jumping/pushed out of the nest. I put this little guy back up in the nest to keep him away from the dogs....I think he's still ok up there..

July 17-Texas Rangers

Went to the Rangers game tonight. They lost, but our seats were amazing!!!

July 16-Cowboy Stadium

John and I took the girls to see the new Cowboy Stadium. It was NICE!!!! The whole place smelled like a new car. After that we went out for wings at BW 3's...YUMMY!

Jonas is annoying...

Went to see Harry Potter last night at midnight so I was sooo tired this morning. 2 1/2 hours of sleep makes for a cranky me!!

Jonas woke me up at 6:30 after going to bed at 4...ick....

July 14-WELCOME NATALIE!!

Woo hoo!! Got up and went to the airport to pick up Natalie!! Then on to Ihop which cost a small fortune!! $40 for 4 people to eat pancakes is CRAZY!!!

Went to see Harry Potter last night and it was PACKED and our seats sucked.....now I need to read the book again..

Well, not our train, but it's the train that seems to stop on the tracks near our house whenever we are in a hurry!!!

July 10- Trail ride

Ok, this isn't a trail ride picture, but that's what I did on the 10th. Met a girl named Amy from one of my yahoo horse groups at the Grasslands and we rode for about 3 1/2 hours and had a blast. It was hot, but not too bad.

July 9-Casino

Went to the casino for about 30 minutes, won $972 in the penny slots and LEFT!!

Another lazy day...

It's just too dang hot to do much of anything......so we didn't. I did go to the feed store and get frontline for the cats, cat food and dewormer for the horses, but that was it.

I took the dogs out for a few minutes, but it was a heat index of 110 so we didn't stay out long.

I swear Jonas eats....it just doesn't look like it....

July 7

Hmmm, here I go again, posting a day late and forgetting what I did yesterday??

OH YEAH!! I got up early and went to pick up my friend Valerie so she could ride the horses. She's a hoot! She's an Israeli Jewish person who goes to my church. I've never met a Jewish person that believes in Jesus, it's really cool.

She was funny on the horses, mostly she just sat. She tried to get Skippy to move, but the only way that was happening was if I was on the ground and he followed me around. Then I put her up on Ivan and he followed me and Skippy around the pasture. She had a good time.

Then I took her home and did nothing....it was too hot and I was too lazy to go anywhere!!

I was a dummy and didn't have my camera out there, so I will leave you with this picture of the best kitty in the world...

Allison's room

Finally got Allison's bed where she wants it. John got a bed frame from his mom's house and put it together today. Hopefully the princess will be happy with it.

It was a perfect day to go to the Grasslands and go riding, but had no one to go with...major bummer...

My view

Pretty quiet day here, planned on going trail riding, but canceled due to the chance of thunderstorms. Of course it didn't storm, but it did rain some, so I guess I wouldn't have wanted to be out there in the rain....

Brotherly love on the 4th of July

Pretty lazy day for the most part. With a heat index of 110 I stayed in the house most of the day!! Did get motivated and went to church at four and then out to dinner with John, but that was it.

Came home from dinner to find the boys in a happy embrace....

Ivan got a bath

Still hot...apparently that is a recurring theme in Texas. Got the house cleaned up and then went out to give Ivan a bath. It wasn't too bad since we were both wet at the time!! He is so shiny and pretty now!

Jonas was a good boy and stayed under the trailer during Ivan's bath.

Rode Skippy for about 35 minutes tonight....Now I am really gross and sweaty and need to take a shower....but I am too tired to get up...

I did a ton of laundry today and I swear I will have a ton more from changing clothes so much from the heat...

July 2-mulch

Holy moly...hot hot hot out. But I wasn't lazy and John and I went to Lowes to get mulch. I put out 15 bags of mulch around the house. I still need more for the side of the house where the trailer is, but no one sees that part, so I'm not worried about it much.

Then when I walked in the house John had a yummy yummy frozen drink waiting for me....I love that man!

OMG IT'S HOT

Holy crap it was hot outside today....

Went this morning for a call back mammogram...thankfully everything went well, and I might have a PRN job out of it. As much as I don't want a job, I guess PRN wouldn't be too bad....

Rode Ivan tonight and Jonas was following me around...it was so very cute....

June 30

Hmmm...what did I do, what did I do??? That's what happens when you don't do your daily blog on a daily basis?

oh yeah....we went to Denton to get some of John's baseball jerseys framed, then we headed to Big Lots and found some really cheap kitty litter...woo hoo! Seems like good stuff too!

Came home and did some yard work, and rode Skippy....I'm tired of having big fat horses...

Now for the POTD......Timmy had a rough day...
